*** URGENT UPDATE COVID-19 ***
We have received guidance from the Chief Dental Officer of Scotland advising us that as of 18.03.2020, all dental practices across Scotland will be limited in the treatments they can provide.
The Keith Dental Practice will remain OPEN (and have revised our opening hours to accommodate the changes). We are still spacing out our appointments to allow social distancing (e.g. only one or two patients in the waiting area).
We will not be able to carry out any procedures that involve any water spray, apart from in emergency situations. This means treatments such as fillings and crowns/bridges will need to be rescheduled.
If you have an appointment that will be affected, we will contact you in due course.
Treatments such as: examinations, hygienist visits, dentures, tooth whitening, extractions, temporary dressings, orthodontics and facial aesthetics will be able to continue as normal.
- If you are fit and well and have a dental emergency, please contact the practice as normal.
- If you have the following: either a new and continuous cough OR a high temperature, please do not attend the practice for routine dental treatment. If you are suffering from pain or swelling and have these symptoms, do not attend the practice, call your GP or NHS 24 on 111
- If you have any questions regarding these changes, please call us on 01542 886251.
Please share this with your friends and relatives and especially with those who do not use social media.
We understand this is a very challenging time for all of us and we appreciate your ongoing support and cooperation while we follow continually changing government guidelines.
